こんにちは、東京りりっくのうさま(@TokyolyricUsama)です。
本日はNicki Minaj(ニッキー・ミナージュ)の最新アルバム「Pink Friday 2(ピンクフライデイ2)」より、”Everybody(エブリバディ)”を和訳していきます！
自分が大好きなLil Uzi Vert(リル・ウージー・ヴァート)とのコラボ曲でもあったため、一番最初にアルバムで聴いたのですがすぐにぶち上がりました！
パンクに転換したLil Uzi Vertの代表曲にもなりつつある”Just Wanna Rock”を思い出させるリズミカルな曲調が堪りませんでした！
曲中にもしばしば出てくる『don’t stop the beat』と言う歌詞はこの曲でNicki MinajとLil Uzi Vertが示したかった、自分たちの止めることのできない快進撃と成長を示しているかと思われます。
いくら周りに批判をされても『don’t stop the beat』の精神で自分の情熱を消してはいけないと言うことを示していてかっこいいですね！
