はじめに
こんにちは、東京りりっくのうさま(@TokyolyricUsama)です。
本日は、Panic! At The Disco(パニック・アット・ザ・ディスコ)のファーストアルバム「A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out(フィーバーは止まらない)」より”Time to Dance”を和訳していきます。
今では、多様性の社会となってLGBTQなどの言葉が発展していますが、初期のP!ATDの歌詞からはこの頃の時代を感じますね。
この曲は主に、小説「Invisible Monsters」という外見至上主義の時代にモデルをしていた女性が、事故で顔面を失ってしまう物語を引用しています。
今年の目標は、P!ATDの曲を全曲和訳したいと考えています！！！！
